StartFragmentSchonbrunn Palace is the second largest palace in Europe after Versailles and possibly even more beautiful with its pale yellow exterior and white trim. Situated a few miles outside of the center of Vienna, I can see why the royal family spent a lot of their time here. The grounds are beautiful, even in the fall (when I visited), dotted with flowers and well-tended greenery. The palace interior is equally exquisite and definitely worth the short trip from the city center to tour.EndFragment
