Dog Chasing a Horse (Samana, Dominican Republic)

Since the Dominican Republic has been so front and center in the news over the past few weeks, I decided to do a little throwback to my trip there several years ago. While visiting this small island nation, I experienced a lot situations that I would describe as "third world." I saw men wandering around with machetes (apparently for work), school children excited to see a pack of markers, families living in shacks the size of a backyard shed, and people using horses to get around the way that we would use a car or a bike. I happened upon this scene of a dog chasing this young boy on horseback rather aggressively, and I was a bit afraid for him. However, he brushed it off, gave his horse a little kick, and sped off.
