The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the most recognizable sights in the world. Basically famous for leaning, the tower did have to be partially corrected to keep it from toppling over. However, no one was willing to fully correct it; “The Tower of Pisa”–its true name–just doesn’t have the same ring to it. I found watching tourists at the site almost as enjoyable as taking in the tower. The majority are posing in some ridiculous way, either trying to make it look as if they are holding the tower up or pushing it down.
