Sacre Coeur (Paris, France)

Scare Coeur, translated from French, is Sacred Heart. The beautiful white church sits atop a high hill on the edge of Paris providing impressive views out over the city. It seems appropriate that the Church of the Sacred Heart should overlook the city of romance. In a lot of ways, I preferred Sacre Coeur as a city emblem over the Eiffel Tower which is a bit stark and cold in comparison to the church's lovely white stonework.
