To say goodbye to 2020 and ring in a new year, a rainbow seemed like the appropriate image—a promise of better days to come. This image was taken in Germany several years ago. Germany can have gloomy weather at times, but sometimes that can lead to an incredible rainbow! I looked out my plane’s window heading east across the grey sky and went quickly digging for my camera to capture this view before it was too late. I just loved the way the rainbow seemed to be floating in the sky.
