Today, I Sent You Off To School: A Reflection Poem

Today’s post isn’t intended to be political, but it’s also not travel focused like most of my writing. It’s more a result of U.S. current events and how they’ve affected me personally. I almost never write poetry, but this latest school shooting has been very triggering to me as a mom. Tomorrow, I promise I’ll go back to travel posts, but today, I just felt the need to somehow put my feelings into words.
