Mostar’s beautiful waterfront is bathed in soft light in the evenings, highlighting its minarets and river-front property. Strolling through the old city center after dark and taking in the view along the Neretva River, particularly from the Old Bridge, is one of the city's most enjoyable pastimes. The Old City comes alive at night and is one of my favorite to wander in the evening (as long as you stick to the historic core). The rebuilding done after the war--which is still ongoing--was done with the utmost attention to historic detail.
